💗Vilma's experiences in Arkansas💗

                 Enjoying, is also part of our job            Although our main direction is work in this training, we also have time to share with our new family those people that are close to you crying or sharing a big smile, as a big family we celebrate Omaira's birthday last january 26th, it was kind of sad because is not easy to be far away from your family, but at least we try to make her fell a little bit happy with those crazy new brothers and sisters. Culture also have been part of our schedule, during the days here we have enjoy concerts, games, shopping, and many interesting activities that keep our mind focus on our job here in the University.

Trainning week # 2                   It's interesting to know that as a teachers we have a big lack of knowledge related with the creation of a reasonable lesson plan. Most of the time we  are focused on the activities and the   assessment that at the end are not  related with the main goal nor with the objectives. During this week we work a lot in very exciting and interesting topics, some of the topics that called my attention were student-centered that has to deal with significant aspects that help the                      student learn better, some of those aspects are real life activities, anytime anyway learning, engagement, motivation and interactions among others. im t  really impressed me, with the fact that we didn't have idea about reading "i failed half of my answers in a explorative            ...

Learning is a experience. Everything else is just information. As a student at Spring international language center I have had the opportunity to try different teaching methods and learn how to make difference among them. ive understood that although each teacher is a different method all them are have to be related to get better results with thestudents because it help them to develop their skills and multiple inteligences. during other classes i take a test that xpress my personality by using colors it was cool and interesting, im not  sure i gold but ill try to keep on it. Pictures,  repetitions, drawings, readings and taking notes have been great help to make  special the learning.

Being in Arkansas have being a very excited experience for me. I've met lot of people from my country and some from other countries. The first days have been difficult because of the schedule, time, feelings and weather. I miss my family and outside is too cold. Despite this,  I've realized what important is being here for me, my learning and teacher development. One of the most interesting things here is the peolpe, they are interested on study, they try to learn more different carriers to get better jobs. the university areas are good specially for nonsmoker peolpe, trasportation is for free, the food is  good and the university staff are awesome. I fell blessed and happy to be here.
