💗Vilma's experiences in Arkansas💗

One of they most importante experience of this week was the oportunity of get together with my language partner because is admirable that someone take some part of her ir his time time ti help and share experiencies with a complete unknoun person. I had a good time with here she is a very young girl very smart with a lot of dreams. We talked about many different topics as family,  dreams, hobbies, etc. We also could share with another people during our time together. I could noticed there are a lot of English native speakers trying to learn Spanish as a second language to become teachers someday. It make me feel proud of my native language.

During this week, I had to present my third lesson plan, it was about grammar. The experience was good even I had to change all my work. At the begining it make me feel really upset because I was pretty sure it was a good topic. Despite thus, my job wasn't too bad 😅. After this experience i've taken consideration many aspects of muy weakness as a teacher for example the way as I was preparing my planning during the last years I was not focused on student centered activities un factor I didn't has any idea of what it was. Another aspects is the way as they anual programs had been made, in most of the cases they are focused on vocabulary. And the last is the way as the teaching system use to teach us to teach i belive a hundred porcent that the teacher evaluation should be continue to help us reduce our weakness.

I could taller about many things but this question make to came backup when I was a little girl. There are many reasons that can influence a child about his/ her profesional future, money, heritage, accident, love for children etc. All those possible answer we're on my mind but my special reason are my sons and my nephews. I wanted to be teacher to give  opportunities to others help them yo understand the importance of the studies trying to prepare productive human being a to my country that has many things to offer yo the world but a little proffesionals. Today I'm pretty aire I became teacher  to engage, guide and help students be good professionals  teaching them   the importance of being good prepared for the life.

It's not easy  to admit when you make a mistake but learning through failures and mistake can truly help us to find succes because when I reflected about that, it let me know that I can be able to increase muy learning experiences. Making mistake I can grow as a person and I can be open ti new exciting opportunities. During this week I couldn't realize that every simple thing we do has a teaching, for example, we had to present a project un pairs I was pretty aire ir was a good job but suddenly all bad thinking came to my mind i wanted to take my flight to Panama in that moment when I saw the paper full of comments and observations, I though hey! What's that? I always did everything wrong? Them i sat down, breathe and i could understood that all those observations are going to keep me working on to get better results, take new risks look forward just to make easy changes.

Those words together make take un consideration that human being use to adapt to any situation, that we are able to deal with hard experiences and this is my case. Despiste those i had to let my kids Rodney(15) and Matías (3 months) with my mother i'll try to keep in mind that time is running and i Will be with them soon. During this week we went to the Amazeun and spent time play as children, we also we're at Walmart museum to know about this amazing place and we had a delicious dinner with our proffesors. Other good experience was to visit lifestyle center to see how they worked with dissabled people and how they make them productive for the society. Saturday was a great they i could feel the warm of a family spending time with antes american family un company of two parterns. By the end of the week we interchanged some of our cultura with some dancings un the union ballroon with people frontera other countries that study at SILC

During this week at SILC, we have worked a lot in diferentes teaching contents that benefits and make us improve our learning in different aspects, for example how to develop accurate objectives in our lesson plans, listening techniques among other. We also has the opportunity to present a prereading activities lesson plan that ley us us our imagination and put un practice our skills and some games we also learn during the week.
